Raw Puer tea from Mangjing villages, purticually Aileng montains, shows strong masculine profile and a hint of premitive forest. Meanwhile, it turely delivers the wisdom of Bulang people in Jingmai Mountains.
【Mabol's Tea Story】:
Whenever I visit Jingmai Mountains, I never make an appointment in advance with Mr Su Guowen, he is in 80s, and often busy in many interviewers. Only if I stopby Bulang Custom Park, and would like to visit him if he is available, this is called respect, I never want to interrupt him on purpose. I also believe that only if you have the intended fate, you would meet him.
Regarding his tea, there are limited prodution. Please ask for if there are still in stock before placing your order.
I have a deep affection for Jingmai tea—not just for its mellow taste, enchanting aroma, and pleasant lingering sensation on the palate, but more for the profound culture and down-to-earth ethos behind it. The people who cultivate it have long held primitive religious reverence for nature; such sincere respect for the land and such pristine environments are undoubtedly the breeding ground for premium tea leaves.
In a way, Jingmai tea serves as a perfect gateway to Pu'er tea, thanks to its approachable, easy-to-appreciate flavor. Yet it can also be a "culmination" of the Pu'er experience, as it allows us to savor the simple joy of tea-drinking every single day.
Then there’s Jingmai tea, which strikes a masterful balance between flavor and potency. Its robust character often flies under the radar if you don’t take the time to focus on the subtle sensations it leaves in your body. That’s why patience and mindfulness are essential—we need to let the tea age gracefully, waiting until it reaches its optimal drinking period. Personally, I believe a decade of aging is when it truly shines.
Fortunately, the market still offers younger batches, often pressed into smaller tea cakes. This means we can indulge in the bright, fresh notes of its youth and the rich, sophisticated depth of its aged wisdom alike.
